CHAPEL HILL—Six Tar Heels scored multiple goals as the No. 1-ranked University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team beat No. 25 Virginia Tech, 20-8, on Saturday afternoon at Dorrance Field.
The Tar Heels posted their 37th consecutive regular season victory, their 28th in a row at home and their 38th in the last 39 games overall. UNC is 60-6 in its last 66 games against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents (regular season and postseason).
Caitlyn Wurzburger tallied five points on four goals and an assist, adding two ground balls, a caused turnover and a draw control.
