CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Nearly 150 young girls got a message from UNC alums and soccer legends Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha Venturini Hoch on Sunday: Live fearlessly, and do so with solid soccer fundamentals.

The Tar Heels returned to the Southern Part of Heaven to headline a soccer clinic sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, which is a partner of Carolina Athletics. The free clinic, held on the turf fields at Cedar Falls Park under skies that threatened rain but never delivered enough to stop the action, helped girls ages 8-12 learn and practice soccer skills while also picking up some life lessons around Blue Cross NC's "Live Fearless" motto.
