The 2025 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 24. One of the many high-profile college stars awaiting their selection is former North Carolina football standout Omarion Hampton.
The running back rushed for over 1,500 yards and 15 TDs in back-to-back season with the Tar Heels. Often shadowed by Drake Maye’s unbelievable career during their time together, it seems like Hampton was never nationally acknowledged as he should’ve been. Fair recognition or not, the Clayton, NC native is receiving some serious praise ahead of the draft.
Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty seems to be the consensus top running back in the 2025 class.
