Last year, we all became aware of Bosh Magic. Between the Chapel Hill Regional and Super Regional, the Tar Heels had a penchant for winning games in their last at-bat. It’s how they beat LIU, won a game against LSU, and took a 1-0 lead against West Virginia. The games were exciting, and you never had the feeling Carolina was out of it.
This year you also never have the feeling that Carolina is out of it—but that’s because they really never give the other squad a chance to fight.
The Tar Heels went an impressive 3-1 in the regional, including twice beating a game Oklahoma team that made a run in what was thought to be a difficult SEC.
