Weiler Named To NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas (April 5, 2017) - North Carolina place-kicker Nick Weiler has been named to the 2017 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. Weiler is one of 23 Atlantic Coast Conference players honored.

Weiler finished his standout career this fall, ranking third at UNC in career points (273) and fifth in field goals made (40). He was twice honored as an All-ACC kicker and was a 2015 Lou Groza Award semifinalist. Weiler was also a member of the 2015 Academic All-ACC team and is a active member in UNC's outreach programs.
