CHAPEL HILL - UNC volleyball hosted its annual awards banquet on Sunday, April 2, Held in the North Pope Box of Kenan Football Stadium, friends and family of the program were invited to celebrate the notable achievements of the 2016-17 Tar Heels.
North Carolina enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in program history this past fall, achieving its highest AVCA and RPI rankings, going an unprecedented 19-1 in conference play to earn its 13th ACC title, advancing to NCAA Regionals for the third time, and taking down a program-record three top-10 teams during the season.
