UNC vs. Pitt - Player of the Game: Harrison Ingram

If you had to describe North Carolina’s 70-57 win over Pitt on Tuesday night in one word, its: ugly. After not scoring for the first six minutes of the game, UNC shot just 36.5% from the field and 29.4% from three and they were the more efficient team in both stats. There were 38 total fouls called, and frankly, the referees let some stuff go.

I say all that to preface this fact: there’s not a ton of obviously pretty stat lines to pick to be Carolina’s player of the game for yesterday’s win. In a game that ugly, why not go with someone who had a semi-ugly stat line, but did a bunch of little things to help the Tar Heels come away with a win: Harrison Ingram.
