The North Carolina Tar Heels are set to take on the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs. The Heels will attempt to keep their undefeated streak going after winning against a C.B. McGrath-led UNCW team, while Gardner-Webb is still looking for their first win of the season.
The good news for Roy Williams is that freshman big Armando Bacot will be available to play. Bacot exited the game against UNCW after suffering a concussion, but thankfully was cleared to play after having close to a week off. This game will also be a good game to work out some of the kinks that the team has dealt with, so hopefully they resist the urge to play down to their competition and leave the Smith Center with a decisive victory.
