Class of 2024 quarterback Michael Merdinger out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, has been committed to UNC since May. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder is coming off a very productive season where he led the Chiefs to a 9-4 record. He completed 211 of 378 passes for 2,849 yards with 26 TD and ran 30 times for 156 yards with a TD. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
