UNC Places 3 In Main Draw Singles At ITA All-Americans

CARY, N.C. - North Carolina has placed three of its standout women's tennis players in the Main Draw Singles Semifinals on Friday at the ITA All-American Championships from Cary Tennis Park.

Junior Fiona Crawley will take on sophomore teammate Carson Tanguilig in one semifinal on Saturday, while senior Anika Yarlagadda faces LSU's Kylie Collins, a member of the back-to-back NCAA national-championship teams at Texas in 2021 and 2022. Both matches are scheduled for 10 a.m. ET.

The Tar Heel trio will attempt to become just the second player in program history to win this championship, joining Jamie Loeb, who won the event in 2013 when she battled through the prequalifying, qualifying and main draws to win 11 matches in nine days to capture the title.
