The University of North Carolina has earned its first-ever No. 1 ranking in the Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 poll on Wednesday. The Tar Heels jumped up a spot from No. 2 in last week's poll after a pair of wins last weekend over then-No. 13 South Carolina and No. 19 Illinois.
