One of UNC’s favorite sons will give back to his alma mater during this weekend’s NFL action. Julius Peppers will wear special Tar Heels themed cleats against the Saints on Sunday.
Every year, the NFL grants the players an opportunity to bring awareness to a cause that is important to them. The “My Cause My Cleats” initiative lets players break traditional dress code and wear specially themed cleats.
This year, Julius Peppers aims to bring awareness to a scholarship he helped sustain at UNC.
