Jerry Stackhouse’s name has been mentioned for a few head coaching vacancies in the NBA this year including the New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons. After an 18-year career spent with eight different teams, Stackhouse decided to go the coaching route.
The current Raptors 905 coach just finished his second season in the G-League and won the league championship in 2017. In 2018, Stackhouse coached the Raptors 905 team to the G-League Finals before falling short.
Now, he’s hoping to take the next step in his coaching caeer.
The Knicks brought in Stackhouse for an interview a few weeks back but made the decision to hire David Fizdale instead.
