CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNC women's basketball team will play its third game of the season and second of the week on Friday, hosting Charleston Southern for a 5 p.m. tipoff at Carmichael Arena.

UNC, under first-year head coach Courtney Banghart, has opened the season with wins over Western Carolina (92-55) and Navy (80-40). The Tar Heels are averaging 86 points per game and junior center Janelle Bailey is leading the team in scoring with 20.5 points per game.

The game kicks off a big night of basketball on the UNC campus, with the Tar Heel men also playing, hosting Gardner-Webb at 9 p.
