Golf fans will be able to see future PGA Tour pros in Raleigh shortly, as the Korn Ferry Tour—a developmental tour for the PGA—comes to the Raleigh Country Club. Former UNC head basketball coach and Hall of Famer Roy Williams, a famous golf fanatic, will serve as honorary chairman for the UNC Health Championship.
Roy Williams won’t be the only Tar Heel on the greens. UNC alum Ryan Gerard and current Carolina golfer (and All-American) David Ford are both expected to play.
