A couple weeks ago, we here at Tar Heel Blog wrote about North Carolina Tar Heels’ golfer David Ford, and how he won the right to go straight from the college ranks to the PGA Tour. He did that by topping the PGA Tour University rankings that the organization runs for up and coming college players. As it turned out, that would be far from the only accolade Ford came away with for this past season.
Over the past couple weeks, various awards for the college golf season have been announced, and Ford has come away with, well, most of them.
