Saturday was a nightmare for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
As Hurricane Matthew left its mark on Chapel Hill, so did the Virginia Tech Hokies who won 34-3.
The Hokies flat out dominated from the start, taking advantage of four Tar Heels turnovers in the game. UNC opened with a turnover on downs after driving into Hokies territory.
On the two ensuing drives, the Tar Heels then turned it over including Mitch Trubisky’s first interception of the year. Trubisky would finish just 13-of-33 for 78 yards and no touchdowns.
He threw two interceptions on the day.
