Mack Brown has only been on the job since November in his second stint as head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels Football program but he’s done a good job under the circumstances in recruiting.
He was able to take a pretty slim 2019 recruiting class that Larry Fedora had started and turned it into a Top 40 class on Early Signing Day back in December landing four-star quarterback Sam Howell as his prized recruit. From there, Brown was able to add to that class he stormed into National Signing Day 2019.
Brown and his staff put together an impressive class when it was all said and done, landing a total of five more recruits from the December signing period to the February one and even landed a few 2020 recruits.
