Mack Brown and his coaching staff at North Carolina have done well in the three recruiting classes since he returned, including the 2021 one which is still in progress.
They turned in a Top 20 class in 2020 and that was coming off a turnaround season in Chapel Hill where UNC went 7-6 and won a bowl game. With 2021 off to a great start, there’s been a common theme among the classes: In-state recruiting.
The staff has done a good job of landing in-state talent including the top player in the state for 2020, Desmond Evans.
