Mack Brown and the North Carolina football program continue to roll on the recruiting trail, where they’ve gotten commitments 14 players from the class of 2021, 11 of which are 4-star prospects. That class, which could end up being the best in the history of the UNC football program, is currently ranked second in the nation behind only Ohio State. Maybe equally as impressive is the fact that the Tar Heels have commitments from 13 of the state of North Carolina’s top 39 prospects.
All of that, and they’re not even done yet.
On Sunday afternoon, 4-star defensive end Jahvaree Ritzie named North Carolina to a list of five finalists that includes Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
