The UNC football team will open its season in 2023 with the Duke’s Mayonnaise Classic in Charlotte against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Previously known as the Belk College Football Kickoff Game, a new sponsorship deal was agreed to Thursday by the Charlotte Sports Foundation that will also change the name of the annual Belk Bowl to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
