UNC football standout Sam Howell has been named a Manning Award finalist
North Carolina sophomore quarterback Sam Howell has been named one of 12 finalists for the 2020 Manning Award. The award, which is sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl, recognizes the nation’s top quarterback each season. The winner of the award will be announced after bowl games are completed in January.
The Manning Award was created in 2004 in honor of the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning.
