This season may not have exactly gone to plan for UNC. The record looks pretty good, but it would look better without the two losses to two absolutely inexplicable teams. Despite that, the Tar Heels have a chance to close their season out on a high note if they can grab a win against NC State at Carter-Finley.
Since it’s the last regular season game, this may be the last time we see some of Carolina’s players. More and more players are understandably opting out of low stakes bowl games this year ahead of entering the NFL Draft.
