UNC Football lands Texas A&M transfer quarterback Max Johnson

Texas A&M quarterback Max Johnson announced today that he is transferring to UNC to finish out his college career. This announcement is just days after the college football regular season ended, and he is the first transfer for the Tar Heels so far.

Max Johnson will attend UNC as a graduate student, and it will be the third college he has played for. He started his career with LSU, which means he was a part of the disappointing final two years of the Ed Orgeron era. As far as his personal stats go, he completed 313 of his 523 passes for 3,884 yards, 35 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
