UNC Football: Could Sam Howell be the first Heisman winner in UNC history?

A University of North Carolina football player has never won the Heisman trophy, but it may be time for that to change.

The North Carolina Tar Heels have never had a Heisman winner and haven’t had a finalist for the trophy since the late 40’s when Charlie Justice finished as the runner up in back-to-back seasons in 1948 and 1949.
