Everything I have learned about Coach Belichick’s love life has been against my will. I’m fortunate not to be a journalist, someone who makes a living by keeping on top of all of the newest developments in unfolding stories on an assigned beat, sourcing and reporting actual news on a regular basis. I’m (usually) very lucky to be allowed to receive news at my own pace, not dependent on being the first to publish a scoop or new development, which means I can afford to tune out from time to time.
There’s a lot to be said about tuning out.
