UNC Football Alumni in NFL: Colts to move on from Eric Ebron

Former North Carolina standout tight end Eric Ebron will have a new home in the NFL when the 2020 season begins.

After spending the previous two seasons in Indiana with the Indianapolis Colts, the tight end and franchise are set to go their separate ways. In the season-ending press conference on Thursday, Colts General Manager Chris Ballard was asked about Ebron and his future in Indianapolis as he’s set to be a free agent and simply said “We’ll probably move on.” Ballard then quickly moved on to the next question.

Just a few hours later, Ebron echoed that statement by posting this message on Twitter:

The 26-year-old will now get to test free agency for a second time in his career.
