Every loss by the UNC football team feels a bit like a Choose Your Own Adventure exercise at this point. The blowout by James Madison was one thing, the 20-point blown lead against Duke was another, and ineffective defensive and failed execution by the offense was the route taken in today’s 34-24 loss to Pitt.
Panthers quarterback Eli Holstein got nearly anything he wanted against the Tar Heel defense to lead Pitt to their first win in Chapel Hill. He threw for a season-high 381 yards, threw for three touchdowns and had a score on the ground as well.
