If you were looking for the complete opposite of Friday’s 18-2 game on Saturday, Carolina and Arizona provided it in a game that saw neither team hold a lead for more than two innings with punches and counter-punches. When the last out was caught, it was Arizona who landed the last blow and forced a decisive winner-take-all game on Sunday. Like the other two games, it’s set for noon at Boshamer Stadium.
Carolina went into the game with confidence coming off the rout of Arizona, and seemed to carry that momentum into the top of the first by getting the bases loaded without recording a single hit.
