UNC breaks through for first-time achievements with Orange Bowl bid

The ACC had yet to be formed when North Carolina last participated in a major college bowl game. Now, UNC is coming off a blowout of Miami in the same stadium the Orange Bowl is held. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
