UNC has its toughest test of the season so far Tuesday night in New York City as they take on defending champion UConn in the Jimmy V Classic. Both teams come into tonight 7-1 on the season with UNC’s loss coming on Thanksgiving Day to Villanova and UConn falling in their last game to Kansas.
Both teams have similar offensive outputs to this point, scoring around 86 points per game. UConn has shot better and allowed fewer points to opponents. Carolina has been riding the RJ Davis train the last three games particularly, and are able to go as far as his shooting has taken them.
