It’s still very early on the 2019 AAU circuit for recruits and there is a long way to go, but this past weekend’s three events brought some relevant news.
University of North Carolina head coach Roy Williams was out and about last weekend watching several recruits including Jaden Springer, Donovan Johnson, Jabari Smith, Day’Ron Sharpe, and a few others over the three-day period. The Tar Heels have shown significant interest in those recruits plus several others as they look to get started on their 2020 and 2021 classes.
One of those recruits had a big day on the Under Armour Association Session II in Kansas City over the weekend.
