After watching D.J. Steward play during the 2019 Peach Jam in South Carolina over the past weekend, Roy Williams and his North Carolina Tar Heels staff liked what they saw. Now they have extended an offer to the four-star shooting guard who plays with Mean Streets on the AAU circuit.
The Chicago native announced via Twitter that he has officially received an offer from Williams and the Tar Heels, posting this tweet on Wednesday afternoon:
