The North Carolina Tar Heels are playing their best basketball of the season and appear to be hitting their stride at the right time.
Winning 11 of their last 12 games, the Tar Heels enter March tied atop the Atlantic Coast Conference with Viringia. Both teams have 3 games left and the Tar Heels still have to play Duke in the season finale.
But as it stands now, UNC has put themselves in position to have a shot at a No. 1 seed. Closing out the regular season at 3-0 would go a long way in helping their chances.
