As we continue to go through this “quiet” recruiting period at least until late April, there have still been some headlines in both college basketball and football over these past two weeks. That includes the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program who could be looking to add to their roster for the 2021-22 season.
Just last week Santa Clara guard Trey Wertz announced he was entering his name into the transfer portal and it didn’t take long for teams to start calling. More than 40 schools put a call in for Wertz to show interest in the guard and now, he’s down to just 11 schools.
