The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team suffered their first loss of the season against Texas on Thanksgiving and as a result, they have fallen in the polls.
After losing to the Longhorns in the Las Vegas Invitational, UNC was able to rebound with a win over then No. 17 UCLA the next day. But it came at a cost in terms of their national ranking.
With the 2-1 week, the Tar Heels fell a few spots in the Associated Press Top 25 released on Monday, coming in at No. 11.
This is the first time the Tar Heels are out of the Top 10 in the early season polls but they have a big chance to get back in there this week.
