Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels extended their eighth scholarship offer to a 2021 prospect on Sunday afternoon, and they may already have a leg up on the competition for his commitment.
D’Marco Dunn, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard, confirmed the scholarship offer Sunday night, noting that it came during a lengthy conversation with Williams, their second of the week. A senior at Westover High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dunn adds his UNC offer to a growing list that includes Clemson, Houston, Marquette, Maryland, Wichita State and Xavier, among others.
A terrific junior season has dramatically improved Dunn’s stock with coaches and scouts.
