On Friday, Carolina released their full non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season. There’s still the ACC portion to go, though we do know that it’ll be 18 more games with two against Duke and Syracuse, and none against Boston College. We don’t know those dates, but based on the non-conference schedule we can make one assumption:
Hubert Davis has learned a lesson.
His first schedule as coach in 2021-22 wasn’t really in his control, as a lot of the marquee non-conference games had already been agreed upon. Still, it was arguably the best one he’s had because, outside of a trip to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and another to Las Vegas for the CBS Sports Classic, the team stayed in Chapel Hill and loaded up on a lot of games to try and build team chemistry.
