North Carolina Tar Heels’ head coach Roy Williams continues to climb the all-time wins list in division 1 men’s college basketball.
So far this season we have seen Williams climb up on the list, passing Jim Calhoun earlier in the year as the Tar Heels are off to a 5-0 start. While UNC got the win in their opening game of the Battle for Atlantis Tournament on Wednesday vs. Alabama, Williams tied another legendary coach.
The win was No. 876 in the career for Williams tying him with legendary Kentucky head coach Adolph Rupp.
Roy Williams now has 876 career victories…that ties Adolph Rupp for fifth most all-time.
