The Atlantic Coast Conference held its annual media day on Tuesday in Charlotte as teams descended on the city to discuss the upcoming season which tips off in a month from now in early November.
North Carolina head coach Roy Williams met the media to discuss his team for the upcoming season and provided some updates on where his team is at. One of the big updates from Williams came in the form of some injury news and where some players are to start the year.
Williams told reporters that three of his players were battling knee injuries as freshmen Jeremiah Francis, Anthony Harris and junior Sterling Manley will miss the start of the season.
