P.J. Hairston scored a game-high 16 points and Kennedy Meeks added 14, as the former North Carolina standouts led Team CP3 to a 73-68 victory over Power of the Paw in the second round of The Basketball Tournament on Saturday night.
After draining the game-winning three-pointer for Team CP3 on Friday night, Hairston’s 16 led his team in scoring the following night, knocking down 5-of-12 shots from the floor and 3-of-9 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed three rebounds and two steals, and knocked down 3-of-4 shots from the free throw line in 20 minutes of play.
