When the North Carolina Tar Heels hit the court for the first time in 2019-20 season in a few months, there will be a small change to their uniforms. The Tar Heels are one of the Blue Blood programs with a historic legacy in the game of college basketball and now Nike wants to honor that.
Last week, Nike announced they will be making some changes to college basketball uniforms to pay homage to National Championships programs have won over the years with UNC included.
Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.net reported on the change with Nike inserting a gold tab on the back collar of jerseys for programs that have won it all.
