At one point, a Keion Brooks commitment to Indiana seemed like it was just a matter of time. And when it comes to familiarity and proximity, it makes complete sense.
Not only is Indiana University the flagship school of Brooks’ home state, but it’s also where his friend and fellow 5-star recruit Trayce Jackson-Davis is committed to play. Hoosiers head coach Archie Miller has done an excellent job recruiting Brooks, too, and does really well keeping in-state talent at home.
But according to at least one recruiting expert, the seemingly consensus assumption that Brooks-to-Indiana is a done deal, might be slightly oversimplifying the situation.
