The North Carolina Tar Heels were one of several teams that were interested in five-star 2020 recruit Isaiah Todd. The Raleigh, North Carolina native was one of the top recruits in that 2020 recruiting class, ranking No. 13 overall.
Early on, it appeared as if Todd was destined to land at North Carolina after receiving a scholarship and then visiting campus several times. There were reports that Todd would visit campus and play in some pickup games with UNC players and recruits.
However, Todd eliminated the Tar Heels from his finalists list and then eventually picked the Michigan Wolverines.
