Former North Carolina basketball standout and national champion David Noel has been named assistant coach of the Washington Wizards’ G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go. Noel spent that past two years as head coach of the Southern Durham School of Energy and Sustainability, a public high school in Durham, North Carolina.
“We are thrilled to be able to go into year two of the Go-Go with such a complete staff,” Go-Go General Manager Pops Mensah-Bonsu said in a release. “We have great continuity in our front office, and we were able to build off of that with our coaching staff.
