Despite recent claims from Cole Anthony’s father, Greg, that the sensational freshman point guard could return to North Carolina next season, national recruiting analyst Evan Daniels says there is absolutely no chance that happens.
When asked on Twitter this week about what North Carolina would do with its rotation and incoming freshmen if Anthony decided to return in the fall, Daniels quickly shot the notion down. He stated that it “doesn’t matter, because, quite simply, there’s no way that Anthony doesn’t put his name in June’s NBA Draft.
“The truth is it doesn’t matter if they could mesh because the chances of Cole Anthony returning to North Carolina are 0.
