Dikembe Mutombo is an eight-time NBA All-Star, and four-time Defensive Player of the Year. He was a third-team All-American at the University of Georgetown in 1991, and he’s still remembered for his patented finger wave.
His son, Ryan, is an up-and-coming prospect in the recruiting class of 2021. He’s been working on improving his game over the past season, grown nearly two inches and put on about 25 pounds in that time. In doing so, Mutombo has been getting more attention from coaches and scouts, and that will probably continue to be the case over the next year of his recruitment.
