While most of the talk regarding the University of North Carolina basketball team has been on the 2019 recruiting class, the 2020 class is starting to make some headlines.
Back in June Roy Williams and his staff received their first verbal for the 2020 class when center Day’Ron Sharpe announced his decision on Father’s Day while visiting campus. Sharpe became a very important recruit for Williams, giving him a early post player in the class.
At the time of his verbal, Sharpe was just really starting to get noticed. The North Carolina product has since received praise during the Summer AAU sessions and now he’s climbing the recruiting rankings.
