UNC Basketball: Brice Johnson named AP First Team All-American

As the North Carolina Tar Heels await their Final Four matchup with Syracuse on Saturday in Houston, Brice Johnson continues to add to his legend at the University of North Carolina.

On Tuesday, Johnson was selected as a first-team All-America by the Associated Press.

He is joined on the first team by Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine, Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon and Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis. Like the majority of post-season awards teams announced in recent days, this one is loaded with seniors and a lone sophomore.

It was also announced Tuesday afternoon that the same five players were named to the CBS Sports 2015-16 College Basketball All-America Team.
