We are less than a week away from the (real) opening of the ACC Season, and to believe the way most have talked about the Tar Heels, they’ll need to go 20-0 just to make the NCAA Tournament.
The fact is, this doesn’t appear to be a repeat of the 2022-23 season. It’s easy to draw that parallel since it was so fresh in our mind, but an actual inspection of the schedule yields some different discussions.
First off, the 2022-23 Tar Heels ultimately would have one win before the conference season—Ohio State in MSG—to hang their hats on to hold up as a quadrant one win.
